Changing formations

In the soccer match of life, I'm subbing out a stable midfielder for a holding forward. I'm pushing for the goal and hopefully the win. I'm either going to win this game or lose it. Ties are boring.

On > Foward H&R Block
Off < Midfielder Sprint

I have found that if the game stays tied for too long, the ownership starts taking penalty shots. Oh wait, that's just on my field. Best to take the initiative and go on the attack. Congratulations!

Enlighten us non-soccer types... This means you're changing jobs?

Yup. I can't be clear in the blog, it just isn't cool.

Effective July 25th, I'll be working in Midtown for H&R Block. Basically, the soccer reference suggests that I'm taking out a stable player and mixing up my line-up in order to push foward. Fighting complacency, if you will.

Ahh... Makes sense now. Congrats on the new job. That takes away that night 2 hour training ride though.
